Emergent Practice

Bespoke private coaching for meaningful, lasting change

A deeply personalised approach to mindset, embodiment, creativity and personal growth - bringing together a rich collection of practices, fresh perspectives and dedicated one-to-one support. For those ready to explore what's possible.

Knowing what you want is one thing. Getting there is another.

Perhaps you have a clear idea of the life you want to create, but keep finding yourself caught in familiar patterns.Perhaps you've done the reading, the reflecting, the goal-setting yet still feel a distance between what you understand intellectually and how you actually live.Or perhaps you're entering a new chapter and want to approach it with greater intention, confidence and self-understanding.Whatever brings you here, I believe meaningful change begins with curiosity.
It's not just about reaching a goal. It's about who you can become on the journey there.

No single formula.
A world of possibilities.

I don't believe there's one perfect method for personal growth. That's why Emergent Practice brings together tools and perspectives from a wide range of disciplines, including:Sometimes the work calls for reflection. Sometimes it calls for imagination, movement, a different perspective or a concrete plan. The approach is shaped around you, rather than asking you to fit into a predetermined programme.

- Mind & behaviour: mindset, self-belief, habitual patterns and practical embodiment.- Body & regulation: yoga, embodiment, breathwork, nervous-system regulation practices and Yoga Nidra.- Imagination & creativity: visualisation, dreamwork, Jungian ideas and creative exploration.- Intention & action: goal-setting, experimentation, personalised practices and accountability.

Sometimes the work calls for reflection. Sometimes it calls for imagination, movement, a different perspective or a concrete plan. The approach is shaped around you, rather than asking you to fit into a predetermined programme.

Your growth deserves more than a generic programme.

Working together means having someone in your corner who takes the time to know you properly.Your ambitions. Your patterns. Your strengths and blind spots. The things you're working towards, and the things that might be getting in your way.Our sessions are a dedicated space to explore, question, experiment and move forward. But the work doesn't stop with the conversation.I'll draw on my experience and toolkit to develop practices, exercises and approaches tailored to you, paying attention to what's changing, what needs revisiting and where the next opportunity for growth might lie.You can expect warmth, curiosity, compassionate inquiry, honest challenge and meaningful accountability.

About Me

I'm a writer, actor, qualified yoga teacher and coach, and I've spent much of my life exploring what helps people grow, create and move beyond the limitations they place on themselves.Over the years, I've coached writers and creatives through the psychological and practical challenges of their work, trained and taught across multiple yoga disciplines, and explored the relationship between imagination, behaviour and the body through my work as an actor. My wider interests and studies span psychology, sociology, Jungian ideas, philosophy, dreamwork and the ways we understand and transform ourselves.Emergent Practice brings these different threads together.I created it because I believe some of the most interesting breakthroughs happen when we stop looking at different parts of ourselves in isolation — and start getting curious about how they connect. My role isn't to tell you who to become. It's to bring my experience, creativity, attention and practical tools to helping you discover what works for you.If you're curious about working together, I'd love to hear from you.Emergent Practice currently offers a limited number of places for ongoing, one-to-one coaching.I work with just 4-5 private clients at any one time, allowing me to offer the depth of attention and personalisation that this work deserves. This isn't about creating dependence. It's about helping you develop a set of tools and perspectives you can continue to use throughout your life. The first step is simply a conversation. We'll explore where you are, what you'd like to change or move towards, and whether my approach feels like the right fit.
